克•乔•罗赛蒂，先拉斐尔派诗人，其诗深受其兄但•加•罗赛蒂影响，但却无艳丽之风，多朴实哀婉清新的特色。克曾两次恋爱，但都因宗教信仰上的分歧而破裂，后来他就把自己的一生用在侍奉父母和为他人做好事上，但爱情的破裂在她的诗中留下了深深地烙印，使她的抒情诗具有较浓厚的悲观色彩。弗吉尼亚•伍尔夫曾评价她“在英国女诗人中克里斯缇娜•罗塞蒂名列第一，她的歌唱的好像知更鸟，有时又像夜莺”

听这首诗让我想起来林徽因的《写给我的大姊》，有一种对照的感觉
