Hi every one, I’m Joel Sartore, a contributing photographer for national geography magazine, and you professor for this course on photography. For more than 20 years and 30 stories, I’ve traveled the world looking for good pictures. In fact, photography is about all I’ve done since I was 18 years old (can you believe it). Judging by my wrinkle and grey hair, it’s a long time. I never dreamed that growing up in the Nebraska I’d be a national geographic photographer, but, here I am. It all thanks to a few little black boxes that I hang around my neck for so many years.
